Core Curriculum

In order to earn a bachelor's degree at Rocky Mountain College, students must complete core curriculum (general education) requirements. Students who complete the core curriculum gain a broad understanding of the key concepts and methods of a variety of disciplines. They develop skills in leadership, written and oral communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, creative expression, and professional excellence. New students may use core curriculum courses as a means to explore their interests or to decide on a desired major or career path.

The following advising worksheets give an overview of core curriculum requirements. For more information about required courses, refer to the academic catalog section. For questions about the core curriculum, contact Student Records.
