Health and Human Performance

In the health and human performance program, graduates can concentrate in four areas, including health and human performance studies, exercise science, sports management, and athletic training and minor in three areas: coaching, athletic training, and health and human performance.

Our faculty makes challenging work interesting, and they establish lasting partnerships in learning. On-going mentoring is the basis of a partnership between students and faculty, which often extends beyond graduation and entry into the workplace.

Students graduating from our programs are educated to the highest standards within their chosen profession through both classroom and real-life settings. Hands-on experience in the field is a cornerstone of all our programs. Strong ties with professionals in our community exist because of the successes of former RMC interns. Student interns have been placed in health clubs, private physical therapy practices, hospitals, and with semi-professional sports teams.

We are proud of the after-graduation successes of our students in both job placement and continuing education fields. We have a very high job placement rate in jobs all around the country. We also have alumni in graduate programs in areas such as physical therapy and health administration, as well as research assistantships.

Outside of classes our students are heavily involved in all campus activities - from plays to talent shows and with our sports teams as athletic and personal trainers.
