Biography

Dr. Beiser has been teaching at Rocky Mountain College since 2007. Prior to joining the faculty at RMC, Dr. Beiser spent most of her professional years working in sales and marketing. For more than 20 years, she worked in the office furniture industry in marketing and corporate training. Following the completion of her Ph.D., Dr. Beiser worked in the nonprofit sector and ran a program for at-risk youth, which she called exciting, challenging, heartbreaking, and exhilarating. As the executive director of the program, she had numerous opportunities to apply the principles of business to the nonprofit world and found that there was great synergy to be had. At RMC, Dr. Beiser continues that new tradition in both the business and nonprofit sectors through community projects, having students create marketing plans for nonprofits, and through Enactus, a student-led international program applying the principles of business to develop economic empowerment in others.
