Biography
Students will find out pretty quickly that Professor Rockland Tollefson knows all the angles at Rocky. He was on the Battlin' Bear basketball team while he earned his degree, graduating only a few years ago. After working for a tax accounting firm in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, he has come back to his alma mater as visiting assistant professor in accounting. He has been teaching at Rocky since Fall of 2008.
Professor Tollefson knows the challenges and the obstacles of being a student and will be ready to help you when you need it. He also will uphold high academic standards that he appreciated when he was a student.

What do you do outside of class?
I enjoy hanging out with my new little son, Jace. I also like hunting, fishing, and just about any other outdoor activity.
What is your favorite getaway location?
Going back to our farm near my hometown.
