The Cheerleading program at Rocky Mountain College is in its 9th year. The program began to grow in 2006 when Kelly Edwards took the coaching position. RMC Cheerleading first began as a club in 2003 with a squad of eight girls that cheered at local games with very little stunting. Today the squad is recognized as a sport and consists of 10-12 women and up to 10 men (spring semester). The stunting has vastly improved to include all-girl group stunting, co-ed partner stunting, all-girl/co-ed pyramids, and basket tosses. We cheer at all local football and basketball games and are actively involved in the community as well. In the past four years we have made tremendous strides in the building of the program and plan on growing to a competitive traveling co-ed squad. We can say very proudly that we have one of the best squads in Montana.
