Position Description

Rocky Mountain College is seeking a Vice President of Institutional Advancement to lead the Office of Advancement in its efforts to provide resources in support of the College’s mission. The Vice President of Advancement will have responsibility for all facets of the College’s advancement function.


The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with a wide range of constituents and a demonstrated track record in institutional advancement and fundraising. At least five years of effective fundraising experience at the executive level, preferably in private higher education, is required. A history of success in soliciting and securing major gifts is also required, and experience managing a capital campaign is desired. An advanced degree is the preferred level of educational attainment, and the position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
