Academic Resource Center (ARC)ARC

Rocky Mountain College recently completed construction on a new Academic Resource Center located in the Paul M. Adams Library.

The new Academic Resource Center allows RMC to expand and centralize its academic support services, while increasing support programming and staffing to provide more opportunity for academic success for its students.

Made possible by the support of the Charles M. Bair Family Trust, the Academic Resource Center was designed to meet the academic needs of students outside the classroom, providing a full range of support services. Students can work with faculty and peer tutors to develop educational strategies toward achieving academic, vocational, and personal goals. State-of-the-art technology and various multimedia resources were also installed in the space to facilitate student successes.

"This plays a crucial role in our initiatives to improve retention and graduation rates," said RMC President Bob Wilmouth. "We are now more capable than ever to provide learning support programs and self-development activities designed to boost academic performance."
