2016 Commencement - May 7, 2016
*Graduation Application: Students must fill out a graduation application and turn in their $100 application fee (deadline TBA). There is a $25 late fee for applications submitted after the deadline. Students must also meet with the Office of Student Records the semester before their expected graduation date in order to review degree progression.
*Caps and Gowns: Caps and gowns will be available after April 10th in the RMC Bookstore. Announcements with degree card are $9.95 for a package of five, and will be available in the RMC Bookstore after March 31st. Personalized announcements (name and degree imprinted in the announcement) can be ordered anytime directly through the Jostens website: www.jostens.com. If you have any questions, please contact the RMC Bookstore at 406.657.1091 or email@example.com.
*Financial Aid: Students who have received federal student loans are required to complete loan exit counseling online at nslds.ed.gov. You are encouraged to meet with the Financial Aid Office if you have additional questions. Please contact them at 406.657.1096 or in the lower level of Prescott Hall.
*Career Services: Students should be aware that the services provided by Career Services remain available to them as alumni. Examples include help with résumés and interviews skills; access to local, regional, and national job postings that are geared toward recent college graduates; and assistance formulating a job hunt strategy. You are encouraged to meet with Lisa Wallace in the Office of Career Services if you have additional questions. She can be reached in the Bair Family Student Center, or at 406.657.1039.
*Temporary Health Insurance: Students who are interested in temporary health insurance until they are employed are encouraged to stop by the Dean of Students Office or contact them at 406.657.1018.
Academic Awards Banquet
This annual event honors students who have excelled academically throughout the year. If you plan to attend, please contact the Dean of Student's Office at 406.657.1018 or stop by between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Tickets can be picked up by April 10th.

Senior Art Show – Ryniker-Morrison Gallery in Technology Hall

Closing reception to honor the graduating seniors and their families will be held on Thursday, April 28 in Tech Hall from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., except on May 6 (Baccalaureate) and May 7 (Commencement) when the exhibit will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

*Dress Code: Rocky Mountain College Commencement is a formal ceremony for staff, faculty, friends, and most importantly, students. The College therefore requires all students to adhere to a formal dress code for the ceremony; men are expected to wear dress slacks and dress shirts and women appropriate skirts, dresses, or slacks. As there is a significant amount of walking and standing during the ceremony, comfortable shoes are recommended, and flip-flops will not be allowed.
Each student participating in the ceremony is required to wear the provided cap and gown, and no personalization of the caps may be made. The College recognizes that many students would like to wear uniforms or other cultural dress, and this is encouraged and accepted at all other graduation events, as well as under the cap and gown during the commencement ceremony.
*Note: In keeping with the formal tradition of commencement, noisemakers such as airhorns or cowbells are not allowed into the ceremony. The College asks that you and your family/guests honor this request.
