Peer Review Board

Peer Review Board Members

Austin Webber

Sophomore, Chemistry and Biology Major

Why are you part of the Peer Review Board?

As a Peer Review Board member, I have the unique opportunity to edify fellow students and discuss their actions with them in an unbiased and comfortable environment. The opportunity for education allows us to truly make an impact on how people take responsibility for their actions.

What is the purpose of having a panel of peers to review student conduct issues?

The Peer Review Board allows the students to tell their side of the story which is important because every situation is unique. Also, as fellow students living in the same community, there is an aspect of accountability for each other.

Other Involvement: Theatre and InterVarsity

Why are you part of the Peer Review Board?

I am a part of Peer Review Board in order to make sure campus policies are followed and that everyone on our campus feels welcome and safe.

What is the purpose of having a panel of peers to review student conduct issues?

The purpose of having a panel of peers to review student conduct issues is valuable for students to be able to present their cases to others their age, who also understand what it is like to be a college student.

Other Involvement: I am not currently involved in anything else on campus other than Peer Review Board.  I do however; play an active role in participating in campus events!!  If you ever see me around don't be shy to say hi, I love meeting new people on campus!
