Students at Worship, Outdoor Chapel

Spiritual Life

The Office of Spiritual Life, under the guidance of the chaplain, provides for the spiritual growth and well-being of the College community. Through weekly gatherings and a variety of educational programs, service projects, and worship opportunities, the Office of Spiritual Life addresses diverse spiritual needs and supports the exploration and practice of faith. The chaplain is available to all students, staff, and faculty to provide support and compassion. The chaplain's office can also provide information for a range of religious faiths and for local community resources.

Students in the Outdoor Chapel for Worship at Orientation

The chaplain, an ordained Christian minister, represents Rocky Mountain College's denominational heritage and

is available to all members of the RMC community, regardless of religious affiliation or denomination. All are welcome to attend programs and services.

In addition to the programs offered by the chaplain's office, religious groups may be formed by students with the assistance of the chaplain. For more information about these groups, please click on the links provided.

Dan Hargrove is the advisor for the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IV). The group meets weekly, Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel (unless otherwise noted).

The chapel is located on the lower level of the Bair Family Student Center. The chaplain's office is located in the southwest corner of the chapel and is accessed through the chapel. Rocky Mountain College also has an outdoor chapel, which is used for worship in the autumn and spring.
