Step 4: Optional Loans

Loans reduce your remaining balance and must be repaid.

Parent PLUS Loan Families are eligible to receive up to $20,000 a year and a maximum of $65,000 over four years through the Parent Plus loan. Requires a credit check. A 4.228% origination fee is withheld from the gross loan amount.
