Biography
Dr. Kendra Lewis is a Montana native, raised in the small town of Geraldine, MT. After rodeoing and obtaining her bachelor’s degree at Montana State University, Dr. Lewis was anxious to begin her path towards a career helping others help themselves.
Dr. Lewis received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain College in 2021. She is excited to have the opportunity to give back to the Rocky Mountain College OTD Program and watch the students positively impact the state of Montana. Dr. Lewis is very passionate about serving/educating on rural and agricultural populations. She is the founder/host of the Cutting Fences Podcast, where she interviews individuals in agriculture who have continued to farm and ranch despite disability or injury. She is very passionate about advocating for how occupational therapy can help to improve independence, function, mental wellness, and quality of life for rural and agricultural populations. Outside of work Dr. Lewis enjoys skiing, running, and any other activities done with her family and friends.
