JV Volleyball Coach

Essential Duties- May include, but not limited to:

Assist the head volleyball coach in managing and directing the Rocky Mountain JV volleyball program.

Assist the head volleyball coach with all aspects of the JV team including training, teaching, instructing, and coaching student athletes during practice and competition.

Planning JV practice and competition strategy alongside the head coach.

Maintain accurate inventory of JV volleyball uniforms.

Coordinate travel arrangements and facility needs of visiting teams for JV.

Organize and complete all required paperwork.

Coordinate scouting and video exchange for JV

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Promoting traits of personal integrity, sportsmanship, and overall well-being while fostering and building a supportive and competitive team culture.

Commit to and be responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations set forth for the team.

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

 Ability to recruit, coach and teach highly talented student-athletes.

Ability to scout opponents and break down game video.

A proven record in following directives and being responsible for tasks which have been assigned.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment as needed.

Ability to apply budgeting and fiscal planning techniques within financial constraints.

Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public.

Ability to communicate effectively – orally, by phone, in person, via social media and in writing.

Ability to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.

Demonstrate the ability to market and promote Rocky’s women’s volleyball.

Bachelor’s Degree
