While many of our students pursue careers as history and government teachers, recent graduates have included those working in military service, law enforcement, local and national politics, the Peace Corps, and other jobs related to public policy and the environment. Many have gone on to graduate school in the fields of public policy, public administration, and law.

The global marketplace of the 21st century requires the type of dynamic education offered by both the College and our department. Our goal is for students to emerge as active and critical thinkers with the ability to analyze complex problems and foster innovative and creative solutions.
