- Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
- 3.0 GPA overall and in prerequisite coursework
- Three letters of recommendation

Admissions Timeline
Plan Your Path to Joining Our August Cohort
- Preparing for your application is simple with our step-by-step guide:
- Now: Submit your application online through OTCAS, or for free at rocky.edu/apply.
- Within 2 Weeks: Upon initial committee review, applicants can receive an invite to complete an admissions interview for a formal decision.
- Start Preparing: Work with your counselor to finish prerequisites, apply for financial aid, and secure your spot with a seat deposit.
- August 2027: Begin your journey with the support of our close-knit cohort.
Your Investment in a Brighter Future
As an accredited OTD program, RMC offers students the opportunity to qualify for federal financial aid to help support their cost of attendance. Our financial aid advisors are available to help you explore options and make informed decisions.
RMC Offers the following Scholarship & Alternative Funding Opportunities:
- WICHE’s Professional Student Exchange Program (PSEP) partnership with Rocky Mountain College. Through this program, OTD students at RMC who are residents from specified state sponsors (including MT, WY, AK, NV, etc.) can qualify for a estimated total scholarship of $53,373 towards the total direct cost of RMC’s program. For for more information, visit: https://www.wiche.edu/tuition-savings/psep/. Visit your state-specific PSEP website or office for information on how to apply and to submit a scholarship application. Most state deadlines take place in October, but some states consider all applications on a rolling basis until their programs are full.
- RMC Occupational Therapy Grant: All admitted students who have submitted their FAFSA are automatically considered for this scholarship, no additional application required! Past recipients of this scholarship included applicants with demonstrated financial need, leadership/research in the field of OT, applicants from rural communities, and RMC Alumni. Total scholarship amounts can vary from $2,000-$22,0000.
- Graduate Assistantship Positions: Graduate Assistants earn a 30% tuition reduction (about $18,000 in scholarship total) through five semesters of part time employment with the program. Graduate Assistantships are awarded based on a combination of demonstrated leadership and academic merit. A separate scholarship application is required and becomes available in the Spring prior to the Fall start term.
- Work Study Positions: Within the OTD program, these opportunities include teaching assistants, tutors, and admissions office support roles. Students are also encouraged to explore other work study opportunities around the RMC campus.
