A Little About Me
The beginning of my senior year in high school, a close friend shared with me the RMC website and suggested I take a look. The pictures of the beautiful campus and the rich history were what initially drew me to this school, but what really set it above the rest were the people in the admission office. They answered every question and helped me through the entire process. Moving to Montana by myself was a gut feeling that I knew I had to follow, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. During my time at Rocky, I was a Battlin’ Bear cheerleader, admission office work study, student ambassador, and a student athletic trainer. I also volunteered at many campus and community events. There are endless possibilities in Billings where you get the small town feel in the big city.
My Favorites
Spot on campus: Herb Klindt Field during football season
Thing about RMC: The professors and the relationships you are able to establish with the small class sizes
Restaurant: NaRa for sushi; The Brew Pub for mac’n’cheese and nachos; King’s Hat for a cheeseburger; and Village Inn for pizza
When Visiting
Be sure to explore downtown and to check what types of events are happening around town. Also, go for a walk in the historic district to enjoy the Moss Mansion and other beautiful homes.
My Advice
Not every college is the right fit; follow your instincts. Keep your mind open and explore new possibilities; be involved in something new.
