The Rocky Mountain College Residence Life contract states all residence halls are closed during winter and summer breaks. The RMC calendar indicates the opening and closing dates of each semester. Students may not move in earlier or move out later than the established dates without prior written authorization from the Director of Residence Life. Summer break on-campus housing may be provided for a fee to current Rocky Mountain College students who are registered for on-campus housing for the upcoming fall semester.  RMC summer break on-campus housing is not available to new incoming students.

To be eligible to live on campus during the summer break, please  complete the Summer Break Housing Application in your https://my.rocky.edu/ICS account a minimum of 15 business days prior to your requested summer block session.  Incomplete applications or missing supportive documentation may result in a denied request.  Failure to meet the registration deadline will result in a late fee of $50.00 or the inability to house you during your requested stay.  

Due to safety and security concerns, guests and students not registered for summer break housing are not allowed in the residence halls at any time during summer break. All other policies will remain in effect for the duration of the summer break. Any violation of Rocky Mountain College policy during summer break will result in immediate removal from the residence halls. Summer term to end the first day of fall classes.
