WHITEFISH, Mont.- The Frontier Conference announced the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Players of the Week Monday, in which William Dexheimer and Valentina Zuleta were named Frontier Conference Golfers of the Week.

Dexheimer, a freshman from Las Vegas, Nevada, was named Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career. Dexheimer placed seventh out of 48 golfers at the RMC Intercollegiate played at Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada, shooting a 4-over-par 220 (75, 71, 74). The Battlin’ Bears finished fifth overall.

Dexheimer’s achievement marks the 12th straight Men’s Golfer of the Week award won by a Battlin’ Bear, dating back to last fall.

Zuleta, a sophomore from Bogota, Columbia, was named Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for the fifth time this year and the eight time in her Rocky career. Zuleta finished in a tie for second in the women’s RMC Intercollegiate played at Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada, shooting 12-over-par-228 (80, 73, 75). The Battlin’ Bears finished tied for sixth place.

Zuleta’s achievement marks the 18th straight Women’s Golfer of the Week award won by a Battlin’ Bear, dating back to Fall 2020.
