Rocky Mountain College (RMC) has launched a Direct Admit pathway for Montana and Wyoming High School and homeschool graduates, offering a predictable and financially realistic route to private education.

What Is the Direct Admit Pathway?

The Direct Admit pathway is a simplified route from high school graduation in Montana and Wyoming High Schools to full-time enrollment at Rocky Mountain College. It is designed to make a private college education attainable, predictable, and financially realistic for local families.

Guaranteed Admission Criteria

Graduates from Montana and Wyoming High Schools and eligible homeschool programs qualify for guaranteed admission if they:

  • Earn a high school diploma or GED/HiSET
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher

GPA below 2.5? You still have a path. Students may be admitted by submitting two letters of recommendation and a personal statement.

Automatic Scholarships & Financial Support

Every student admitted through the Direct Admit pathway is automatically considered for academic merit scholarships. By combining direct admission with strong aid, RMC ensures private education is a practical choice.

  • Direct Admit students qualify for up to $17,000 per year in merit awards based on GPA.
  • On average, RMC students receive $26,500 each year in scholarships and grants (excluding loans).

The RMC Promise Scholar Program

Loan-free tuition support for FAFSA-filing families with the highest financial need:

Dedicated Guidance: Every student is paired with a personal admissions counselor to assist with financial aid comparisons, housing, and academic planning.
