Alternate Testing Center Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

This part-time position backs up the Testing Center Supervisor, who works 25 hours a week. This person is responsible for administering FAA computer-based testing and other professional testing for the public, performing duties as the Alternate Testing Center Supervisor, and obtaining certification as a PSI Test Proctor. After initial training, this person would typically only work one day a month to maintain currency. Beyond that, this person would fill in when the Testing Center Supervisor is absent. This person would not be on-call, but would be available particularly in the event the Testing Center Supervisor unexpectedly left the position while a new person was hired. The position of Alternate Testing Center Supervisor is required by PSI.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  1. Obtain certification by PSI as the Alternate Testing Center Supervisor and Test Receive training for the Testing Center Supervisor to be able to fill in during that person’s absence.
  2. Responsible for test administration to include beginning and end of day computer procedures and interaction with the RMC business office.
  3. Coordinate with PSI tech support on computer issues that disrupt candidate
  4. Proctor FAA test Proctor exams for the general public in different industries.

  6. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, PAY AND BENEFITS:

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or three years related experience and/or training. Pay is $21 an hour. There are not benefits as this is a limited part time position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

PSI Test Proctor Certification (to be attained after hiring) and Alternate PSI Testing Center Supervisor.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Employee must have excellent public relations skills, written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and be able to work independently. Employee must have experience or education in planning, administrative, and organizational disciplines. Experience in office work, basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets, and familiarity with accounting terminology is required.
