Assistant Professor of Political Science
October 14, 2024 2024-10-14 20:40Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, invites applications for Assistant Professor of Political Science. The successful candidate will have completed a PhD in Political Science or may be ABO and close to completing their dissertation at the time of application. The position requires a credit load of 12 credits (4 courses) per semester. Teaching duties include Introduction to Political Science; American National, State, and Local Government; History of Political and Social Thought; and other electives in the candidate’s area of expertise. Liberal arts teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate will support and carry out the mission of the college as well as demonstrate a commitment to developing and enhancing a culture of rigor, excellence, and achievement. Salary starts in the mid-50,000’s, and is commensurate with experience. The start date for the position is August 1, 2025.
