Assistant Track & Field Throw Coach

Rocky Mountain College, an NAIA member institution, member of the Frontier Conference and associate member of the Cascade Collegiate Conference, is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Track and Field-throws coach. This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the success of the track and field program, Department of Athletics, and Rocky Mountain College. The assistant coach’s roles and responsibilities include. but are not limited to, the following:

The assistant track and field coach will oversee all aspects of training and development for student-athletes competing in the shot put, discus, javelin, hammer, and weight throw.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • planning and leading practices
  • providing technical instruction
  • assisting with recruiting
  • supporting meet-day operations and travel
  • fostering a positive, accountable team culture while working collaboratively with the head coach.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
  • Prior coaching experience in track and field throws
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon
  • Certification through NAIA rules and policies

This is a stipend position with compensation of $5400
