Director of Sports Performance

Rocky Mountain College is seeking a qualified person for the position of Director of Sports Performance.

The Director of Sport Performance plays a vital role in supporting the strategic vision of the Rocky Mountain College Athletic Department. This position will provide support in the overall organization and management of the entire strength and conditioning program while reporting to the director of athletics. In accordance with the vision of the athletic department. this individual will be responsible for all areas, including: overseeing the complete operation of strength and conditioning for 17 sports; enhancing the physical, and nutritional development of more than 400 student-athletes, working closely with bead coaches and sports medicine personnel in sport performance development; managing staff members; monitoring voluntary summer strength and conditioning programs in athletics; coordinating use of weight room areas according to priorities set by administration; managing post-workout supplemental program; conducting strength and conditioning camps/clinics program; coordinating maintenance and repair of equipment as well as recommending new equipment for the program; ensuring compliance with College, NAIA and Frontier Conference rules; and performing other duties as assigned by the athletic director.

QUALIFICATION:

 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning specialist
