Master of Educational Leadership

Accelerated programs, designed with working Educators in mind.

RMC educates leaders in Montana and beyond by offering online/in-person formats for an accelerated Master of Educational Leadership degree, or a Montana Superintendent Endorsement.

Master of Educational Leadership

This accelerated, 11-month program is 34 credits in length and has a minimal residency requirement. Based on the research of Effective Schools, this cohort-based program meets all state and national standards in a hybrid format. Blending theory and practice through coursework and intensive internship, candidates will be prepared to be instructional leaders in the K-12 setting. Faculty members are experts in their field and will share relevant educational leadership experience with the cohort.

Superintendent Preparation Program

Depending on prior coursework, candidates will need 12-18 credits to earn their Montana Superintendent Endorsement. Courses are offered throughout the year in an online format.

"The RMC M.Ed program prepared me to be a principal and ultimately a superintendent. I was totally prepared to step into a leadership position. The coursework and the internships gave me authentic experience and current information to be a leader."
