Todd Forsgren, Assistant Professor of Art and Director of the Ryniker-Morrison Gallery, had a solo exhibition of his long-term photographic project The World is Round at the Missoula Art Museum this past summer, which included the acquisition of a piece from the show for the museum’s permanent collection. Forsgren is finishing up several artist books as well. Following his publication of Driving into the Sunset last year, he’ll be printing Phase FAZE this year and An Imperfect Representation early next year. Additionally, he is seeking a publisher for his five book set about ecological issues facing oceans and water, Full Fathom Five. Work from that series is currently on view at George Mason University.

Professor Forsgren currently has work up at both the Missoula Art Museum and the Yellowstone Art Museum as part of their annual art auctions. On March 3, 2023, he made a performative collage at the Yellowstone Art Museum as part of their “Monster Drawing Rally.”

Professor Forsgren received his MFA from Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, a university in the Czech Republic.
