Jayme Green, Instructor of Theatre Arts, and six theater students recently traveled to Spokane, WA to attend the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region VII conference. The week included a full schedule of workshops taught by regional university faculty members, productions brought to the festival by participating schools, student scholarship competitions, and graduate school auditions.

For the first time in recent history, the RMC Department of Theatre Arts is producing a collection of all original works by Montana and RMC creators. The production will include four fully produced one-acts and five staged readings of 10-minute plays. The show will run April 13, 14, and 15 with a possible matinee April 16.

Professionally, Green continues to seek opportunities to be better and bring those experiences back to Rocky Mountain College. He recently stunt coordinated and had a small role in the film Treasure State, wrote/directed/filmed a documentary that will be self-released in the near future, and has three writing projects nearing completion with anticipated submissions to playwriting competitions/production companies.

An alumnus of Rocky Mountain College, Professor Green received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College.
