Eleven Rocky Basketball Student-Athletes Earn Winter 2022-23 NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athletes on Friday, in which 11 Battlin’ Bears were recognized.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution. Over 1,400 athletes nationwide were honored for their academic achievements between men’s and women’s basketball.
