Rocky Mountain College offers a variety of scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic excellence or talent in a specific area. To be considered for RMC scholarships, a student must complete the Rocky Mountain College application for admission and financial aid. Scholarships are renewable for four years, based on full time attendance and satisfactory academic progress. The average financial aid award package is $25,000 (this average includes scholarships, grants, work study, and student loans).
First-Year Merit Scholarships
First-year students who have applied and been accepted to RMC are automatically considered for one of the following scholarships based on high school transcripts.

Unweighted GPA: 3.83 + | $17,000/year |
Unweighted GPA: 3.40 – 3.82 | $15,000/year |
Unweighted GPA: 3.39 – 2.9 | $13,000/year |
Unweighted GPA: 2.89 - Below | $9,000/year |
Transfer Merit Scholarships
Transfers who have applied and been accepted to RMC are automatically considered for one of the following scholarships based on grade point average of previous college work. Scholarships apply to those students working toward their first bachelor's degree.

Trustee Scholarship: | 3.50 to 4.00 GPA | $12,000/year |
Presidential Scholarship: | 3.00 to 3.49 GPA | $11,000/year |
Dean's Award: | 2.50 to 2.99 GPA | $8,000/year |
RMC Grant: | 2.00 to 2.49 GPA | $ 5,000/year |
Montana and Wyoming Valedictorian Scholarship
To be eligible, students must submit the following items by February 15:
- Personal essay on leadership and contributions they have made to their high school and/or community;
- Two letters of recommendation from high school instructors or activities advisors;
- Interview with the vice president for enrollment services.
Athletics
Rocky Mountain College may award student athletes with an athletic scholarship. Athletic scholarships are awarded by the individual athletic program coach and are available to those who are participating in any of RMC's Battlin' Bear athletic programs. Prospective athletes are encouraged to contact the athletic program directly or schedule a campus visit.
RMC Native American Outreach (NAO) Student Scholarship
To be eligible, students must submit an application for each semester.
